All bulldogs bred and sold by EDENBROOKE KENNEL have been RECENTLY EXAMINED by a veterinarian prior to delivery or shipping and are WARRANTED
To be sound and in good health at this time of sale. Initial injection has been given againest parvo and distemper. However, on PUPPIES a complete scheduled series of (3) inoculations are recommended, (3 separate injections in a series of 3), and it will necessary for the purchaser to complete the scheduled series of inoculations ON TIME, in order to protect the puppy and for this health warranty guarantee to remain valid. Most veterinarians agree at 6, 9, and 12 to 16 weeks. They should not be exposed to premises known to be suspected of being contaminated, unhealthy animals.
EDENBROOKE KENNEL states that at the time of sale and to the best of our knowledge, the puppy is free of any congenital birth defects and illness. This health warranty does not include kennel cough which like a common cold. Kennel cough must run its course, recovery is expected and kennel cough is not life threatening. Buyer is aware that English Bulldogs are prone to heat stroke and will be responsible to provide an environment that is healthy for their puppy. Buyer has also researched, is knowledgeable of the following conditions and aware they are not covered in the congenital hereditary health warranty: demodectic mange, cherry eye, entropies, ectropion, “loose hips”, OR skin allergies, Giardia, Coccidian, internal parasites, bacterial or viral infections, elongated soft palette, and nasal snares. Undescended testicles are not covered nor is inablity to breed.
The Buyer is advised to have this puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian of the buyers’ choice within 2 working days to assure them that they have purchased a healthy puppy. This will be done at the purchaser’s expense.
Under no circumstances will EDENBROOKE KENNEL responsible for any veterinarian bills acquired by the purchaser for this puppy.
Minor, breed related, treatable or correctable conditions, or any condition that may go away or is considered a condition which a puppy will likely outgrow, are not covered.
EDENBROOKE KENNEL WILL, ON CONFIRMATION OF A LIFE THREATENING Genetic Condition, found within 48 hours (2 working days of purchase), REFUND purchase amount only.
Furthermore, extending the guarantee to 6 months, certain health issues as follows : limited to Leukemia, Heart Malformation, and Pulmonary Stenosis. If one of these arises within the first SIX MONTHS of purchase, and a licensed veterinarian believes this to be life threatening genetic related, then buyer is to notify seller within 48 hours with:
1. A written explanation from a licensed veterinarian and backed up with lab work or x-rays the nature of the problem.
2. Then the seller will obtain A SECOND opinion from a Veterinarian whom EDENBROOKE KENNEL will choose will examine the puppy for signs of abuse or for the reported life threatening congenital defect.
Then the buyer must:
3. Return the puppy and AKC papers to seller at buyer’s expense. If you are unwilling to release the puppy and AKC papers into my possession, NO REFUND OR REPLACEMENT PUPPY be offered, nor will I be a part of the recovery process.
4. Proof that the puppy was examined by a certified veterinarian no later than 2 working days receiving the puppy, and received further veterinarian care and the complete series of shots as preventative care (3 in series) also must accompany puppy when returned.
If the Veterinarian’s prognosis is that of the puppy has a life threatening genetic disease as above and all of the criteria are met, we will replace a puppy of equal value or apply the amount of your purchase price to a pup now or one soon available. Different quality of pups determine price of pups, it is possible pups available immediately will be higher priced.
No problems other than life threatening congenital defects are covered in this agreement that EDENBROOKE KENNEL offers, extended as above until the puppy reaches six months of age.
If at any time you transfer ownership of the puppy, this agreement is void immediately.
EDENBROOKE KENNEL is not responsible for the health of this puppy after the 48 hours period, except as above with the 6 month coverage extension of the certain conditions mentioned.
EDENBROOKE KENNEL cannot guarantee that any Male puppy sold will have two testicles. Sometimes it is weeks, or few months before both will come in or not at all.
EDENBROOKE KENNEL will grant all its dogs with full breeding rights unless otherwise specified, and IF THAT FACT IS SPECIFIED, Then pup will be sold as pet only and will be required to be spayed and neutered by 6 months of age.
If a dog is unable to breed for any reason EDENBROOKE KENNEL is not responsible and cannot guarantee the fertility of a male or female puppy. A show quality puppy is sold as such based buyer’s best judgment at the time of sale. The puppy sold is guaranteed to be from the show quality stock as supported by the pedigree, but EDENBROOKE KENNEL cannot guarantee the development of the individual puppy’s show potential.
It is understood that this puppy can NEVER be turned in at a shelter. Consider a licensed rescue organization or qualified home and if circumstances require a new home for my puppy, I understand as the buyer I am requested to contact Seller, and perhaps she can provide assistance in finding a secure and safe home. I AM NOT REQUIRED TO RETURN DOG, BUT IF I DESIRE TO DO SO, I KNOW I CAN RETURN. IF YOU WANT TO RETURN DOG TO BUYER, 1/3 REFUND IF LESS THAN 3 MOS, AND THEN AT LESS THAN 6 MOS, $500 WILL BE RETURNED, AFTER THAT NO MONEY WILL BE RETURNED.
Puppy has been fed Royal Canin puppy food and it is recommended to continue feeding this, closer to 1 year old you can switch him to Royal Canin Bulldog. I feel it is a really good quality food choice. If you switch to other brand, please do so over 2-3 days to lessen any food change/upset stomach.
Seller requests, but does not require updated photos at 6 months and 1 year of age.
Please treat your new bully pup with care and never leave them unattended, a crate is recommended when not directly being observed. Many pups have drowned, chewed electrical wires or caused destruction in just a few moments. A sponge mat/ pad will add comfort to crate and keep the little bully pup safe. Careful selection in toys and chew items should be done and inspections done frequently for wear. If they can swallow it, they will and either choke or get a possible obstruction of the digestive tract. Recommended feedings of 3 times daily and with measured amounts, most bullies will eat and drink too much. Plan on offering water when feeding, then cleaning the bowl in-between as they will wash their mouths and quickly turn any water in the bowl into a slobber bowl. I CANNOT stress enough DO NOT leave your bulldog in the heat or a parked car even for 5 min. This can cause injury or death.
Please take pride in your baby and wash face daily with a washcloth or a baby wipe, clean all creases, folds and inner ears out. This will aide in training so later, they will tolerate this. Because a clean bully is a healthy bully and one you will enjoy. _______________

THIS AGREEMENT IS BINDING TO INFORMATION ABOVE, IT IS THE ONLY WARRANTY EXPRESSED WRITTEN OR VERBAL AND IS SIGNED VOLUNTARILY AND IN AGREEMENT OF BOTH PARTIES. NO FURTHER COVERAGE IS COVERED OR EXPRESSED TO BE COVERED.
